Executive Board Duties

The following information is intended to supplement the duties specified in the Constitution and in the By-Laws of the club and should be read in conjunction with those documents.
- President
- Facilitate the establishment of committees and ongoing individual activities (e.g., Emergency Management Liaison or Publicity) and appoint committee heads and individuals as appropriate.
- Ensure that this wiki is maintained with the objective of providing continuity to important responsibilities of the executive board.
- Vice President
- Ensures that County Courthouse Annex or other location(s) for programs are reserved sufficiently in advance of event (Courthouse Annex reservations through Winona County Health & Human Services - (507) 457-6200.
- Secretary
- Annual registration with MN Secretary of State to maintain non-profit corporation status. See the following link for more information - MN Secretary of State Website
- Annual Registration with MN Attorney General to maintain charitable organization status. See the following link for additional information - MN Attorney General Website
- Be the official contact person for all filings or reporting to local, state, and federal agencies (including IRS contact).
- Maintain official records for the club as specified in the Records section of this wiki.
- Treasurer
- Submit required annual IRS report prior to April 15. See the following link for more information - IRS Guidance. Send copy to club Secretary for official files.
- Board Member-At-Large
- Club Radio Station Custodian
- Maintains club station call sign (W0NE). Coordinates club repeater frequencies and access tones with MN and/or WI repeater coordinators as appropriate.
